See this crawlDistances are straight-line from the first bar on each route, so treat them as a guide rather than a walking time. All three crawls are self-guided, so you can start any time inside the crawl window.
Royal Crawl runs three separate bar crawls in Las Vegas, and they are genuinely far apart. The Downtown route starts on Fremont Street, the Las Vegas Strip route starts at The LINQ Promenade in the middle of the Strip, and the South Strip route starts at Mandalay Bay. There are about four miles between the Downtown and South Strip starting bars, so where you are staying makes a real difference to which one is easiest to reach.
The finder compares your starting point against the first bar on each route and ranks all three. It shows every crawl rather than only the nearest one, because closest is not always the one you want. Plenty of people staying downtown still choose the Strip crawl for the promenade, and plenty of people on the Strip head downtown for the neon.
Still deciding between them on something other than distance? Our full comparison of the three crawls covers stops, hours, walking, vibe, and prizes side by side.
If the crawl you want is not the closest one, it is still an easy trip. Downtown and the Strip are connected by rideshare in roughly fifteen minutes outside of peak traffic, and the Deuce bus runs the length of Las Vegas Boulevard around the clock. Within the South Strip, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and Excalibur are joined by a free tram and enclosed walkways, so you can reach the Swingers start without going outside.

Royal Crawl runs three routes covering Downtown, the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, and the South Strip. If you are staying anywhere along Las Vegas Boulevard or on Fremont Street, at least one starting bar is usually within a mile or two.
No. The three crawls are separate tickets and separate routes, and you can do any of them regardless of where you are staying. The finder ranks all three rather than picking for you, because the closest crawl is not always the one that suits your group.
Pick the nearest hotel or landmark you do recognise. The three crawls are miles apart, so a block or two either way will not change which one comes out closest.
The Downtown starting bar on Fremont Street and the South Strip starting bar at Mandalay Bay are about four miles apart in a straight line. The Las Vegas Strip crawl starts at The LINQ Promenade, roughly between the two.
